Ikea in collaboration with ASUS/ Republic of Gamers is launching six new product families aimed at PC Gamers.

For years, we’ve known Ikea to be the go to place to fully furnish your dorm room, your first apartment, or just to get those one off things you need when you get grown (IE art, rugs, plant stands, etc.). Now it’s set to become a resource for gaming furniture.
With six product lines set to launch in October 2021, Ikea has collaborated with ASUS/Republic of Gamers to put together a collection of 30 different pieces that make up their gaming skus. We know whatever they put out will be relevant, functional, and most importantly, easy on the budget! And because we know Ikea likes to stay ahead of the curve, we’re anxious to see how they thought outside the box for launch.
And in true Ikea fashion, we’ve got a suite of product line names that we’ll start to remember once we know exactly what we want:
- Uppspel (which translates to “play” in English),
- Lanespelare (lane players),
- Matchspel (match play),
- Gruppspel (group games),
- Utespelare (outdoor players), and
- Huvudspelare (main player)
Get all the necessary classics with a “facelift” like gaming chairs and desks and marvel in details like the mug holder and headset holder to help keep your space intact. There’s also a peg board, used for holding gaming keyboards, cords, and controllers that match Ikea’s current model of products we’ve seen time and time again. The new sit to stand desk is another win as we all know the posture positioning is REAL!
Just in time for the holidays or a game space level up, we can’t wait to see what Ikea has in store.
